Where does the delivery come from?

All web shop orders are delivered from Melli Ecodesign store in Jyväskylä. Orders can also be picked up from the store, with no shipping costs. Just choose the “store pick up” option. You will receive an e-mail, when the order is ready for pick up.

Which payment methods do you offer?

In our online store, we offer a wide range of payment methods, from installments to invoices, card payments and online banking. Payments are handled by Checkout Finland (card payments, bank transfers and Mobile Pay), PayPal and Collector Bank for invoice or installments.

What are your shipping fees?

The shipping fee in Finland is 5,90€ You get free shipping on all orders over 150€. The shipping fee includes any postal payments and packaging costs.

If you choose the “store pick up” option there will be no shipping fees. Just choose the “store pick up” option. You will receive an e-mail, when the order is ready for pick up.

What are your delivery times?

We will send your order as soon as possible. The delivery time will be 3-7 working days depending on product and the season. During sales the delivery times can vary. If a part of your order has sold out, we will be in contact.

NOTE! If the order is not collected from post or Matkahuolto, we will charge you for cost of return 5,90€. Post office stores packages for 7 days at all its pick-up points. For packages not picked up, we charge a handling fee of 15 €

What is your return and exchange policy?

All our items can be exchanged or returned as customer returns. Contact us at info@melliecodesign.com. he product needs to be new, unused, unwashed, in its original package and packed accordingly. Attach your contact info, a copy of your order confirmation and your account number for payment return. The condition of the product will be checked before payment refund. We do not refund the shipping fees. We do not refund shipping costs.

If you picked up your order from the store, you can return them there as well. Before returning the items to the store, do contact us at info@melliecodesign.com.

We do not accept returns over 14 days after delivery.

What to do with faulty products?

If the item is faulty, you can do a reclamation notice at info@melliecodesign.com and return the item for free. There will be no shipping costs. as a customer return to the mail. There will be no shipping costs.

The faulty item will be checked carefully after its arrival. If the item is mendable, it will be mended as new. If not, the customer will receive a new item or a refund. For refund, we kindly ask the customer to give us their account number.

How to use a discount code?

A discount code will be activated as a coupon. Write the discount code in the coupon code field in the shopping cart.

Why won’t the discount code work?

Firstly, check that the code is written correctly. Secondly, check that there are no extra signs in front or after the code. Check that it is still valid. Most of our discount codes expire after few days and gift cards are valid for 6 months after purchase.

I received a gift card, what should I do?

A gift card is valid for up to 6 months after purchase. The gift card can be used for all Melli EcoDesign web shop items. The amount on the gift card must be used all at once, we do not refund money from the card.

Paying with gift card: The gift card will be activated as a coupon. Write the code on the gift card in the coupon code field in the shopping cart.

How does Melli Ecodesign business regard sustainable development and ethics?

We think it’s important to produce clothing that’s good for our customers and employees as well as the planet. Therefore, we keep our production and supply chains transparent. They are not hidden, as we are proud of our choices. All the materials we use are natural or recycled, such as GOTS certified organic cotton, mulesing-free merino wool, tencel and viscose bamboo. All our clothing is designed and sewn in our own factory in Jyväskylä. It is important to us to keep the sewing production in our hometown. Can I exchange or return sale items?

Discounts have a 14-day right of exchange or return.

Ostamaani merinovillatuotteeseen on tullut pieniä reikiä. Mitä se tarkoittaa?

Merinovillatuotteen reikiintymiseen voivat vaikuttaa seuraavat asiat:

Hankaaminen/ilman pesupussia peseminen. Merinovillavaatteet olisi hyvä pestä 30 asteen villapesuohjelmalla pesupussia käyttäen, jotta ne eivät tarttuisi kiinni tai hankaisi muiden vaatteiden vetoketjuihin tai nappeihin. Vetoketjut ja napit kannattaa laittaa kiinni pesun ajaksi.
Väärä pesuaine voi myös aiheuttaa reikiä. Merinovillavaatteille suositellaan villavaatteiden pesuun tarkoitettua pesuainetta, jonka ph on alle 7. Tavalliset pesuaineet, joiden ph on yli 7, voivat haurastuttaa villakuitua, joka aiheuttaa reikiintymistä.
Merinovillavaatteet tulisi säilyttää puhtaina suljetussa ja tiiviissä tilassa tai paketissa, jotta huomaamattomat vaatekoit eivät pääsisi niihin. Vaatekoin toukat voivat aiheuttaa reikiä merinovillavaatteisiin etenkin säilytyksen aikana, kun vaatteita ei käytetä aktiivisesti.

Miten hoidan merinovillavaatettani?

Tuuletus on parhain tapa hoitaa merinovillaa. Merinovilla on luonnostaan antibakteerinen kuitu, siksi merinovillatuotteita ei tarvitse pestä usein. Tuulettamalla lisäät tuotteen käyttöikää.
Kun peset tuotteen, käytä villapesuohjelmaa tai käsinpesua.
Pesupussin käyttö on suositeltavaa.
Matala pesulämpötila, 30 astetta.
Pese vaate nurinpäin käännettynä.
Käytä villan pesuun tarkoitettua pesuainetta, jonka ph on alle 7.
Älä käytä huuhteluaineita, sillä se vanuttaa villakuitua.
Muotoile vaate kosteana.
Älä käytä kuivausrumpua.
