Terms of delivery starting from 16.8.2018, updated 15.6.2023
Products and Prices
The prices of products are presented alongside product descriptions. Our product prices include VAT. The tax breakdown is shown in the shopping cart and in the order confirmation.
Payment Service Provider
The payment processing service and payment provider is Paytrail Oyj (Business ID 2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the recipient of the payment on your bank statement or credit card bill and will transfer the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution license. In case of complaints, we kindly ask you to contact the product supplier first.

Klarna Payment Methods
Together with Klarna Bank AB (publ.) (head office at Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden), we offer the following payment methods, where the payment is made directly to Klarna:
- Invoice: Payment period is 30 days from the delivery of products. Klarna invoice terms are available here.
- Flexible Installments: You can pay your purchase flexibly in monthly installments, with the minimum payment being 1/24 of the debt (but always at least 5.00 EUR, including interest on the remaining debt).
- Fixed Installments: You can choose different monthly installment options at checkout. The installments decrease monthly as the outstanding credit amount decreases.
- Campaign Invoice: If the option for an extended payment period (e.g., “Buy now, pay in February”) is offered at the time of purchase, you can pay according to the campaign invoice terms. Shipping Fee
Shipping costs to Finland are €5.90 for postal packages and €10 for home deliveries. For orders over €150, shipping is free. The shipping costs include postage and packaging fees.
Pick-up from our store at Jyväskylä’s Kauppakeskus Sokos is free of charge. Choose “Pick-up from Store” as the delivery method. We will send you an email when your order is ready for collection. Pick-up orders are held for 2 weeks.
International shipping costs €15.
If you wish to make changes to your order, please contact customer service as soon as possible at info@melliecodesign.com. Please include your order number (starting with #) in the message.
Deliveries
We will send your ordered products by post as soon as possible. The delivery time is approximately 1-5 business days, depending on the product and any peak periods. During busy times (such as campaigns, launches, and holidays), delivery times may be slightly extended. If any of the items in your order are out of stock, we will contact you. Orders are delivered domestically to the nearest Posti service point or as Posti’s Home Parcel directly to your home. DHL Express delivers orders to the rest of the world. The general delivery time to Finland, in addition to the processing time, is 2-3 business days depending on the delivery method.
Home delivery in Finland delivers the order within 1-2 business days after shipment via Posti’s Home Parcel. Posti will contact the recipient to arrange the delivery time. Please remember to include your phone number when placing an order to receive delivery notifications!
NOTE: If you purchase products as a gift, be sure to include the recipient’s phone number, not your own, in addition to the recipient’s address.
Product Return Policy
Our products have a full 14-day return policy, and we charge €6.90 for returns. We do not offer free returns, as postage and return costs are not included in the product prices. Our products do not have an exchange policy, and we recommend placing a new order for any exchanges.
You can return the product via Posti’s customer return service to Melli EcoDesign, Kauppakeskus Sokkari, 2nd floor, Kauppakatu 24, 40100 Jyväskylä, customer return 660851.
The returned product must be unused, unwashed, in its original packaging, saleable, and properly packaged. Please include your contact details and a copy of the order confirmation or packing list. Remember to keep your return receipt until your return has been processed. The receipt serves as proof that you have returned the package, and it is on its way to us. The condition of the returned product will be checked before a refund is issued. The return cost of €6.90 will automatically be deducted from the refunded amount. We do not refund shipping costs. Please note that if you chose invoice as the payment method, the return fee of €6.90 will remain on the invoice to be paid.
Please note that we will also deduct the shipping costs of €5.90 from the refunded amount if the remaining value of the order no longer qualifies for free shipping (for example, the free shipping threshold is €150 and the remaining order value falls below this amount).
A pick-up order from the store can also be returned to the store. In this case, please contact info@melliecodesign.com first.
If you return a product associated with a promotional offer (e.g., buy 3, pay for 2), please note that the offer will be void if the promotion’s terms are no longer met. If you return a product that included a free gift, please return the free gift as well.
For international orders, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We do not accept returns made more than 14 days after delivery.

IMPORTANT! Not collecting an order is not a return! If an order is left uncollected from the Posti service, we will charge a return fee of €15. Uncollected shipments abroad will be charged according to the actual freight cost plus a €10 return fee.
Correcting a Product Defect
If the delivered product is defective, you can file a defect report at info@melliecodesign.com and return the defective product for free as a customer return through Posti. You do not need to pay the postage fee.
The condition of the defective product will be checked once it arrives back at the merchant. If the product can be repaired, it will generally be repaired to like-new condition. If the product cannot be repaired, the customer will receive a replacement or a refund. To issue a refund, we kindly ask for your bank account number.
Other
For discount campaigns, the code must be entered in the field in the shopping cart for the discount to be applied. Only one discount code can be used per order. New promotions do not apply to orders already placed. We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. We recommend that you review the current delivery terms before placing an order. We handle all customer information completely confidentially.
